San Francisco Christian School has been providing quality education with a biblical foundation in San Francisco since 1971. We are ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) and WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) accredited. SFCS is the only K-12 Christian school in San Francisco. We have a unique opportunity and challenge.

We are committed to providing solid academic study that is accessible to anyone in the community. Our desire is to reach the H.E.A.R.T. (Healthy Body, Eager Minds, Appropriate Emotions, Relational Focus, and Transformed Hearts). Education is no longer simply about what is taught and learned, but it requires the whole student be reached. This is accomplished through various teaching methods, engaging activities, spiritual training, and a safe learning environment.

Our greatest physical asset is our teaching staff. Our teachers are committed to helping each student reach their fullest potential and understanding God's purpose in the life of each student. We have a number of teaching staff that are alumni of SFCS and many that have been teaching for ten to forty years at SFCS.

San Francisco Christian School is operated as a ministry of Calvary Baptist Church in San Francisco, California. The school was founded to provide a Christian alternative to the humanistic education offered in other private and public schools. All subjects are taught from a biblical worldview encouraging a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a life led by the Holy Spirit, and obedience and surrender to the Word and will of God. SFCS stresses wholesome Christian living, personal salvation through Jesus Christ, obedience to the Word and will of God, and using our talents and gifts for the glory of God.
